Welcome to Week 1!

This week we will be working My Favorite Tote Bag by our host Carolyn, from The Purple Poncho. I love the flower motif at the center of the tote. It reminds me of a flower in bloom and that is perfect, with spring trying to push through! The bag has nice texture too and a nice sturdy handle to keep things secure inside!

I met Carolyn several years ago through a blogging collaboration and quickly learned that she is not only a wonderful designer and blogger, but also a very nice person and over the years we’ve become good friend. Her designs are elegant with a dash of funky style and she has been published in several publications. Here are a few of my favorites.
