These tiny little itty bitty hearts are made with just one round of stitches so they are super quick to work up. They are so fun to make and I can think of a million uses for them — Use them to embellish hats, clothing or greeting cards. You could even glue them onto some canvas for Valentine-themed wall art or put little eyes on them and make them Valentine Buddies! Just have fun!
I worked these up in worsted weight cotton yarn, but of course you could make them in just about any yarn you like. Make sure you adjust the hook size to the yarn you choose and you can expect the finished size to vary based on the weight of the yarn.
Size: 1.5 – 2″ in the worsted cotton yarn, other yarns will produce a different size.
Materials:
- Any worsted weight yarn; I have used Lily Sugar N CreamÂ
- Hooks US H/5.0 mm
- Yarn needle for weaving in ends
