12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop 2019

This year I’ll be partnering with SIX super-talented blogger friends

and Yarnspirations to sponsor the Blog Hop!

Welcome to the 5th annual 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop event! I’m so excited to be hosting this event once again. This year we are making a few changes so even if you’ve joined us in the past, be sure to read through for all the updates.

 

What Hasn’t Changed?

• Once again, I’m partnering with 6 super talented designers (guest hosts) to bring you a new holiday themed free pattern each week. 
• Each Friday, starting September 20th, the pattern information will be released on my blog. We will end in early December so that you will have lots of time to finish your projects for holiday decorating, gift giving or simply to enjoy during the season. The projects vary in size and type so there should be something for everyone. 
• The point of this CAL is to have lots of fun, learn some new techniques, play with some new yarns as well as old favorites and hopefully make some new friends! The added bonus is that when you are all done, you’ll have some holiday decorations and gifts too!
• Once again, we are honored to have Yarnspirations sponsoring this event and the giveaways. 

 

What Has Changed?

• We’ve renamed this year’s event a Blog Hop instead of a Crochet Along (CAL). You can still join your fellow crocheters for the CAL feel though, so don’t worry.
• This year the CAL portion will be hosted in the Pattern Paradise Community Group on Facebook (instead of the Crochet Playground Group), so if  you haven’t already joined, be sure to put your request in now. You will find a group of crocheters and admins eager to help each other and share progress. Each week I will pin a post for that week’s project and you can ask or answer questions there and share your project photos too.  
• Instead of smaller weekly giveaways, this year Yarnspirations will sponsor three huge giveaways! Stay tuned to my weekly blog posts for the Rafflecopter entry forms so that you have a chance to win too!
• And I left the best for last! This year, several of the hosts will be offering a free PDF download of their pattern for a limited time. Be sure to read my weekly blog posts to find out of the free PDF is available and how you can claim yours!

What do you have to do? It’s Easy! 

1. Join the Pattern Paradise FB Group so you can keep up with all the happenings. There will be a pinned post in the group, where you will go to get info, stay in touch, get/give help and share your progress with your fellow crocheters.
2. Follow your hosts! Subscribe to our blogs and follow us on social media so you won’t miss anything and to show your support!
3. Check my blog each Friday for the new pattern and project preview plus materials for the following week!
4. When your CAL project is complete, simply create a Ravelry project and link it to the pattern page. If you need help with this, I have an easy tutorial HERE to help you out. 
5. Finally, don’t forget to enter the Rafflecopter link for the giveaways. You’ll find these on my weekly blog posts.
