LickinFlames Shawl Pins
While I made my Spring Showers Shawl, I looked for a shawl pin to accessorize my shawl. This is when I came across LikinFlames and their fabulous shawl pins! Shawl pins are decorative pieces that generally come with a long stick pin to attach them to the shawl. They can be used to keep the shawl closed and in place or simply as a decorative touch.
LickinFlames is a small business, run by a husband and wife team that has been crafting since 1973! Jim is the creative genius and Brenda handles the business end and keeps Jim grounded.
Each LikckinFlames shawl pin is handcrafted from clay and individually decorated. While each piece is dried and fired in the same manner, natural variations occur that give each piece a unique quality and they all have the LickinFlames hallmark iridescent look. Once the clay portion is complete each piece is perfectly paired with a brass stick pin.
These pins are great for shawls, of course, but they can be used to close many items including scarves, bags, kilts and more. In addition to two shawl pin sizes, LickinFlames also produces shawl buttons and shawl bobbies, so I’m sure you could find just the right item for your shawl!
