#12WeeksChristmasCAL – 2016 CAL Details

 

Welcome to the 12 Weeks of Christmas CAL 2016

I’m so excited to be partnering with four talented blogger friends and Red Heart Yarn to sponsor this year’s CAL!

 

Those of you who participated in last year’s event know it was lots of fun. You learned some new techniques, tried some new yarns, there were fabulous prizes courtesy of Red Heart Yarn and best of all you made some new friends. How does it work?

Each Friday, starting September 16th, we will post a new free pattern with a holiday theme. We will end in early December so that you will have lots of time to finish your projects for holiday decorating, gift giving or simply to enjoy during the holiday season. The projects vary in size and type so there should be something for everyone. We will introduce you to some new yarns and use some of the old favorites too.

Thanks to Red Heart Yarn, we will be hosting a Weekly Yarn Giveaway (value $50) so that you can try some of their new and featured yarns!

 

 

We will end with a Grand Prize Giveaway (value $125) too!

 

What do  you have to do? It’s Easy! 

1. Join our Crochet Playground FB Group so you can keep up with all the happenings. Each week a new event will be added for that week’s project.  That’s where you will go to get info, stay in touch, get/give help and share your progress with your fellow crocheters.
2. Subscribe to our Blogs so you won’t miss the posts.
3. Wait for the first list of suggested materials to be announced on September 2nd.
4. When your CAL project is complete, just post your pictures to the FB group and you will automatically be entered into the yarn drawing for that week!
5. We want to share the event with the world, so be sure to tag your posts and pictures with #12WeeksChristmasCAL so that we can be easily found in social media!

That’s it!  Easy, breezy and lots of fun!
