English Garden 12″ Crochet Square
I love gardening almost as much as I love to crochet (almost…) and this square reminds me of a formal English garden with its symmetrical, evenly spaced, geometric shapes. I imagine a perimeter of beautifully pruned trees, with rows of boxwood, trimmed with a bed of blooming colorful flowers and a fountain in the center of it all! This square is my crochet interpretation of that image.
I designed this square in 4 colors, but I think it would look beautiful with more as well as in a solid neutral, maybe even an ombre. I plan to coordinate this square with some other fun stitches for a lapghan, but it would also make a wonderful throw pillow, table runner and I’m sure it has many other uses too.

I would love to at least read the instructions on this pattern ….. BUT there is no way to get the ads out of the way. The ones that have an X … it doesn’t work. The video ones have no X and cover the text during scrolling. Please get the tech savvy to make it easier on us. Frankly I don’t want ANYTHING enough to go through this torture.
I’m so sorry you are frustrated. I do want my followers to be able to access and see the patterns, so your note concerns me. I’ve checked with the ad agency and I’ve tested the site myself and it seems the option to “X” out is working. Perhaps you are using a different browser and there is a compatibility issue. If you could take a screen shot of what you are seeing and send it to me at [email protected], I’ll be able to forward it to my webmaster, ad company and host to see if they can resolve it.
Of course, if you want to eliminate the ads completely, my patterns are available on Ravelry in ad-free PDF form for a discounted fee.
