Pompoms are fluffy and fun, and cheerful too,
in fact check out and High School or professional football game and you will see they are the tool of choice for “cheer-leaders”!
They make lovely decorations for memorable events. I’ve even seen streamers of pompoms on “Just Got Married” signs hanging from a car!
I’ve seen people use them to make adorable floral bouquets to decorate a mantle, added to throw pillows and even drapes!
They make wonderful gift wrap, just add one to the top of any gift and watch the reaction of the recipient!
Put a couple on top of each other, add some eyes and any you have a  friendly toy critter!
But for crocheters, they are great fashion accessories for hats!
There are many methods and tools to make them, however, being a traditionalist, I like the simple, old fashioned way I learned when I was a young girl!
