Santa Hat
Santa will look great and be ready for toy delivery in this adorable hat. The hat is worked in back loops to develop the texture, and works up quickly in worsted weight yarn. Add a little fun fur white trim and pompom and you are ready to go. I use this tutorial to make my pompoms. There are sizes from Baby to Adult so there should be something for everyone. Santa Hat
Size:
Baby – Head Circumference = 16 – 17”
Toddler – Head Circumference = 18 – 19″
Child – Head Circumference = 19 – 21″
Adult – Head Circumference = 22 – 23″
Materials:
Worsted Weight yarn such as Red Heart Classic
- Main Color (Red) – 100 – 250 yards
- Contrasting Color (Black) – 25 – 50 yards
- Small amount of gold for buckle
- Fake fur for trim and pompom (I used Bernat pipsqueak)
Hook H/5.50 mm
Yarn needle for weaving ends

Gauge: 18 sc x 5 rows = 4″

BLO – back loop only
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
hdc – half double crochet
sc – single crochet
sl st(s) – slip stitch(es)

- Beginning ch 1 of round does not count as a stitch.

Add a pompom to the point. Embroider the belt buckle into the band.
