Ivory Snow Stocking
I can’t seem to stop making stockings! This elegant, thick, luxurious stockings is the perfect addition to all types of Christmas themes. I kept the color solid and neutral to allow the beautiful textured stitches to shine through, but of course you can make it in any color or multiple colors if you wish. I’m sure it would equally lovely! Fill it with lots of goodies or use it as a container for gift giving.Â

Hi! I’m working on your ivory snow stocking pattern and am confused by the direction for round 35. [2sc, sc 9], repeat to end, join. (40)
Does this mean: [2sc in the same stitch, then SC in next 9 stitches] and repeat until end?
Round 34 only has 36 stitches so this method wouldn’t add up to 40? Thank you for your help in advance!
You are correct. That should read sc in the next 8 stitches. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I’ve corrected the PDF, if you’d like an updated copy, please email me at [email protected]
I absolutely love the Ivory snow stocking! I’m curious how difficult it is to make? I don’t want to purchase it and not be able to make it! lol Thanks
Thanks for your note. Well difficulty to make is very subjective as it is based on so many different factors including your crochet experience, ability to read a pattern, etc. My testers rated it as advanced beginner, if that helps. I will tell you the pattern makes use of post stitches and the celtic weave (I have a tutorial to help you with that https://pattern-paradise.com/2016/09/28/tutorial-celtic-weave-stitch-rounds/).
I hope that helps.
