Corner to Corner Dragonfly Blanket
The inspiration for this C2C dragonfly blanket came from Lorri who asked to have the popular dragonfly stitch turned into a corner-to-corner blanket. It seemed a simple task, but getting the spacing right turned out to be quite a challenge. It was a fun challenge though, and I’m so pleased with final result!
The sample blanket pictured above is smaller than what the written instructions will produce, so the total yardage listed below was estimated based on the yardage used for the sample blanket.

Have you made this as a straight pattern? Not c2c. Sister wants a 50 x65 blanket wondering if they are 2 or 3 particular rows to copy for a rectangler vs c2c blanket
The straight row version is a totally different pattern. Currently, I don’t have one like that.
How many total ounces of yarn for a blanket sized 40 by 48 and 52 x 60
I haven’t tested any size other than what I published, however, using strict mathematical averages, you 40 x 48 size would require approximately 16% less yarn than stated in the pattern and the 52 x 60 would require approximately 35% more yarn. Hope that helps.
How many how many ouncesorn grams are in each skein of yarn? That will help me determine how much yarn to buy
Usually they are 5 ounces per skein.
Hi looking forward to making this for my sister for her birthday. How many ounces or grams are in each skien of your estimate yarn? it would help in determining the amount of yarn to buy.
I finished😁 It is my first c2c and I am super happy with it! I decided to leave off border because I just didn’t like the way it looked with my colors. Thank you for sharing I ended up using 6 big car on cakes in mint fudge. I was going to add picture but I don’t know how?
That’s fantastic! I’d love it if you added your photo to my Pattern Paradise page on Facebook! http://facebook.com/patternparadise
Hi, I would like to make this blanket as a 36 Inch square. How do I do this?
Regarding dragonfly c2c Blanket.
Work pattern as indicated until it is your desired length on one side (36″) then start the decreases.
Hello, thank you for pattern, I love it! I wanted a larger blanket so I decided to double the pattern. I am wondering of you have made a larger blanket and if the decreasing math will work out the same? Thanx for any advice. ~ Lorraine
I have not made the larger blanket, but the decreases should work the same as written, except there will be more of them!
