Here’s my first crochet pattern of 2015!
The Ribby Warmer Set includes a headband, fingerless gloves and boot cuffs.
The stitching gives it a knit look with a defined ridge that I love. Â Â
The set is on sale for 30% OFF in my Ravelry and Craftsy shops through 1/9/15 EST.
No coupon code needed.

The headband is wide enough to keep your ears warm and it is fitted without any buttons or elastics to get tangled up in. Of course, you can easily modify the width or length to meet your taste!
I must admit, I have never been a fan of fingerless gloves. I really didn’t understand them, I mean why would I want gloves where my fingers are exposed to the cold, right? Well, after making these, I am a convert. They are so comfortable and provide just enough warmth and still leave your fingers free for a steady grip on the steering wheel, or to text, or (my favorite) crochet late at night when the house is cold!
I think the boot cuffs are genius (even if I say so myself) because you can wear them three ways. Wear them on the straight up on the banded edge side for a tailored look or cuff them down, or if you are feeling a little more “frilly” turn them around and let the picot, lacy edge peek through!
Purple is my favorite color, so I was in love with the the purple set I made. But then I used this green by Red Heart and I was in love all over again. It worked out well because my daughter grabbed one set and my son’s girlfriend the other! I guess I’ll have to make myself another set of gloves…..
I added buttons for a bit of a decorative touch, but you can leave them plain or add a bow, buckle or whatever you like. What I love about patterns like this is how easy they are to customize. Enjoy!
