Hard to believe another year has gone by. When I look back I realize why it flew by so quickly, I was just super busy! In addition to the responsibilities of having a family, aging parents and a job, I designed and wrote 45 crochet patterns, updated 15 older patterns, coordinated the Project Sweet Pea event where we donated almost 200 hats and blankets to NICU babies, participated in other charity events and sponsored activities with a local Boy Scout Troop. I’m sure many of you are in the same place with very full plates, that’s why we crochet right? Thank you so much for your support and friendship throughout the year and I look forward to spending more time with you in the new year.
What’s new for 2015? Here are just a few of things that are on the agenda….
- There is a new sharing feature on the blog called “Show it Off”. This is the place to share your finished projects made from Pattern Paradise patterns. Just link them up and once a month, I’ll have a random drawing from the links. The winner will receive one free Pattern Paradise pattern.
- Please continue to share all your projects, each Friday on FAN-tastic Hook-Up. It’s a great way to share you work and build community.
- The Chameleon Hat Challenge was such a hit last year and so many of you have written to ask if I’ll be doing it again. The answer is YES, well, sort of…..I’ll be doing a “Stitch Challenge”. Soon I’ll be announcing the stitch and then each month I’ll share a project made with that stitch – let’s see how many different things I can make with one stitch. I hope it will be as much fun as the Chameleon Hat Challenge was.
- I’ll be starting a newsletter too, so stay tuned for more info and the sign up form soon.
And if you missed any of them, below is a collage of my 2014 patterns.
