Hiya!
Thanks so much for this hat pattern, it’s going to be perfect for my scare crow costume!
On adult rounds 19 and 20, should the increases follow suit, so instead of 15 stitches then increase, it should say 17, and on row 20, instead of 16 stiches then increase, it should say 18?
Could you let me know? I’m assuming it is traditional increasing, so I’m gonna go with it 😀
Thank you again for a wonderful pattern!
You are correct and thank you for letting me know. I’ve updated the post as well 🙂
Thank you so much for creating such a cute pattern! My 3 yo son can’t wait for this to be finished. He’s wanted to try it on multiple times through my progression. I am at the end of the band, and it says (last repeat ends with hdc). Can you elaborate? Does this mean to finish this row with 1hdc, or repeat this row again? Thank you again!
It means to end it with hdc. I’m sorry if it was confusing 🙂
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer all of our questions! Really means a lot. My 3 yo loves this hat. Time for a santa hat that fits his head, so I’m working one up in red. Such a versatile pattern. Thank you again!
You are quite welcome and I’m glad you are finding the patterns versatile — I love that!
Hello…I LOVE the pattern Thank you! The Green ‘Print Friendly’ button is not working. Can you help please?
Thank you,
Conni
Hi Conni, thanks for the nice note. I just tested the button, it’s working fine now. Please give it another try.
Maria,
I’m a little confused on why you have to fasten off when you have another round on the adult side. It says:
“Repeat Side Rnd until hat measures 9” from point.
Fasten off. (80 hdc)
Next Rnd: Ch1, hdc2tog, hdc next 37sts, hdc2tog, hdc to end, join. Fasten off. Continue to Band. (78 hdc)”
Please advise.
A typo 🙂
where did you get the spider pattern on the patches witch hat
Hi Krystal. I made it up as I went along, but you can find many cute free spider patterns on Ravelry.
Question? When doing the sides… it said to skip to side after I’m a little confused
Oh my! That should have said “Band” – I have corrected it and thank you for letting me know.
So cute! Thanks for sharing!
I just had to pin the witchy hat!
Love! Love! The Patches pattern. Fun, fun, fun. Getting started on one right away.
Thank you!
Thank you! Enjoy it 🙂
Thanks!
