Why is the houndstooth design all over the runways this year? Why? Well that’s simple — it is a classic! It is a clean, neat and pleasingly geometric and lends itself well to clothing, shoes, bags and accessories!
================================================================
The craze bit me too and I turned to crochet for my version of the season’s hottest accessories. I used Kathy Lashley’s lovely houndstooth scarf for the black and white scarf, then was inspired to modify it into a snoodie, finally, I added my own version of mittens with instructions for fingerless gloves too! The Free Pattern is below. Enjoy! ~Maria~

Thank you for the lovely pattern! I plan to make several pairs.
I did notice an error, though. The conversion for the size K hook is 6.5
Thanks again
Thanks, I’ve corrected the typo 🙂
I love these mittens. I’ve actually been wanting to crochet a pair, so I might have to use this pattern. 🙂
