I love family vacations. They give everyone a chance to unwind, spend time together and relax without the stresses of daily life. This summer we decided to take our vacations on the east coast.
In June, we spent time at the Jersey shore to support an economy ravaged by Hurricane Sandy. We spent a few days in Cape May, a quiet little seaside town, with quaint shops and pretty beaches. Of course, I found a yarn store there and spent an entire afternoon touching and feeling the plentiful offerings, as I was determined to add to my stash!
We then worked our way up the shoreline to the excitement of Atlantic City. Ahhh, a few days enjoying the restaurants, shops, boardwalk, casinos and mostly the spa at the Borgata was just what the doctor ordered! Naturally, I couldn’t leave my crochet behind so I worked on my Posts & Stripes Blanket and Trellis Scarf.
Stay tuned for Part 2!
