Crochet Stitch Dictionary by Sarah Hazell
With any craft, the right tools are imperative to achieving excellent results. Crochet, is no different and the Crochet Stitch Dictionary is an indispensable tool. This book includes:
- 200 Stitches ranging from single crochet to fancy lace stitches
- Beautiful photography with stitch detail and step-by-step instructions
- Stitch charts for each stitch
The Crochet Stitch Dictionary is more than just a stitch dictionary, though. One of the things I like best about this book are the sections on hook conversion, yarn weights, crochet symbols and basic crochet information such as: how to hold the hook, foundations chains, working in rows and more. You will even find boxes with helpful tips!
The book is organized in a simple layout that makes it conducive to learning. There is a lot of attention to detail including the pretty thumbnail chart that shows each stitch, side-by-side. The samples are made in a pleasing array of colors, that resemble the color wheel. Even if you just thumb through the pages, it looks pretty!
Whether beginner or experienced crocheter, this book is an excellent reference resource and should be part of every crocheter’s library!
