When working in rows of double crochet, the common method to start a new row is to chain 3, turn and continue to work double crochets to the end. However, this method can often create gaps or holes between the chain 3 and the first dc of the row. There are many methods to avoid this and this is one I often use and like. This method is actually the way you would start a row of linked double crochet.Â
