These little flower blooms wrap around a small lolli pop stick for a pretty presentation. They are so cute on their own, but place the in a small vase, pot or basket for a springtime flower arrangement that doesn’t need to be watered!
I designed these in two layers for textural interest and of course you can make these in any color combinations you like. They use very little yarn so they are perfect for those little scraps you have at the end of a yarn ball. And even though I designed these with worsted weight, they look fantastic with lighter weight yarns too (they would be smaller, of course) but they have such a delicate appearance!
I used Red Heart Super Saver because I had it in the colors I needed, but more importantly I think it will stand up nicely for this project. Red Heart Super Saver is a great choice for so many projects because it is readily available in most craft stores, as well as on line directly from RedHeart.com, it’s easy care, holds up well, is soft but sturdy and comes in a huge range of colors! Of course you may use any worsted weight acrylic yarn you like and I’m sure even a worsted cotton would generate good results.

Size: 3” diameter
Materials:
- DK or worsted weight yarn:
- Color 1: 5 yards
- Color 2: 6 yards
- Hook Clover Amour H/5.00 mm
- Small Lollipop

Abbreviations (US Terms):
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
sl st: slip stitch
st(s): stitch(es)
tr: treble crochet
Gauge: Not important for this project
Notes:
- Pattern is written in US Terms.
- Weave in ends as you work.
- Stitch count is in ( ) at the end of the row or round.
Round 1: With Color 1, start with a Magic Circle, ch1, 10sc in center of circle, join with sl st to first sc. (10)
Round 2 (Work in Front Loop Only): [sl st in next sc, ch9, sl st in same sc], repeat between [ ] to end. Fasten off. (10 Loops)
Round 3 (Work in Back Loop Only of Round 1): Join Color 2 in back loop of any sc, 2sc in each st, join with sl st to first sc. (20)
Round 4: Ch2, [hdc, tr] in next st, [tr, dc] in next st, hdc in next st, *hdc in next st, [hdc, tr] in next st, [tr, dc] in next st, hdc in next st*, repeat between * to end, join with sl st to first hdc. Fasten off. (5 Petals)
Insert lollipop in center hole.
