Mini-Mystery Crochet Along – Guest Designer
Well, the mystery is no more! The projects were a set of treat holders for Easter or any time during the spring season. Fill them with your favorite candy, add a money gift, a sweet note or anything else you’d like to fit in their little pockets!
I had such fun being the guest designer in the MMCAL hosted by Jennifer of A Crocheted Simplicity. I think these little CALs are brilliant! A small fun project, made with leftover yarn with the intrigue of a mystery — what’s not to love!
If you’re new to A Crocheted Simplicity’s Mini-Mystery Crochet Alongs, please read the Information Guide in this blog post HERE. You’ll find all important MMCAL info and FAQ’s!
This MMCAL was posted in 3 segments over 3 days, one for each treat holder.
I used Red Heart Super Saver for my projects (yes, the plural is a hint) because I had it in the colors I needed, but more importantly I think it will stand up nicely for these projects. Red Heart Super Saver is a great choice for so many projects because it is readily available in most craft stores, as well as on line directly from RedHeart.com, it’s easy care, holds up well, is soft but sturdy and comes in a huge range of colors! Of course you may use any worsted weight acrylic yarn you like and I’m sure even a worsted cotton would generate good results.
