This beanie hat is full of texture and style. The pattern includes three sizes (Baby, Kids, Adult) and it is perfect for men or women! It is worked from the band up to the crown and the stitches are worked in the round. The texture is achieved by using a combination of post stitches placed to appear as if they are creating a herringbone pattern, offset with long “stripes”. The faux fur pompom is optional of course, but I think it makes this beanie hat stand out. You could add a yarn pompom if you prefer or leave the pompom off all-together!
This beanie hat was made using Deramores STUDIO, anti-pilling DK weight yarn. This is a 100% acrylic yarn that comes in 100 gram balls (one ball is enough for an adult size hat) and is available in 48 colors! I loved working with this yarn. It is so soft and pleasant to handle and provides excellent stitch definition with a subtle sheen. Deramores is a great company to work with, they ship quickly and with a minimum purchase, shipping is free too!

Hi Maria
I purchased the pattern as per of a kit o from deramores site and am happy with it but I’m not sure where to FPtr 2 on round 2 I can’t do it on the stitches in front because they are single crochet stitches so should I FPtr into the 2 dc I’ve just done? It just isn’t looking right? Thanks in advance

Hi there, yes, you can work them around the sc. It’s a little tight, but it will work.
