How to Attach a Removable Pompom
Don’t you just love hats with those fluffy pompoms? Whether faux fur or made from yarn, they are so big, bouncy and fun looking. On the other hand, they don’t always launder well and there’s nothing worse than a matted down, pompom that falls apart after the first wash. Well this little hack will save your pompoms and sanity!
I buy faux fur pompoms that have a built in loop. I thread a long length of yarn through the loop and tie them in place. For a yarn pompom, simply leave long tails when you tie the center of the pompom and use them to tie in place. Voila! An easy to remove method that allows you to launder in peace without messing up your poms!
You can buy my favorite looped pompoms HERE.
