Well the response to the Spring Showers CAL has been wonderful and we are gearing up for a fun event!
This is a FREE CAL that will be hosted on my website from March 11 to March 31.Each Sunday, I will release a portion of the pattern on my website and you can crochet along with us in the Pattern Paradise Crochet Community Facebook Group. You can socialize with other crocheters, ask or answer questions and participate for fun prizes and giveaways!.
Some of you have told me you don’t want to wait three weeks for the pattern or you’d just like to have a clean, ad-free PDF to print out, no problem, I’ve added the full pattern to my Ravelry shop for a small fee! The PDF also includes crochet charts for those who prefer them to the written instructions.

The yarn I used for the grey ombre shawl was custom dyed for Pattern Paradise by KT & The Squid. Due to your overwhelming interest, she has sold out of her supply twice already! She has more yarn base on order and will by dying up a few more batches for anyone who still wants this yarn — and it IS a beautiful yarn! The yarn is called KT and the Squid Everyday DK Superwash Merino. It is a 100% superwash merino wool that comes in 100 gram balls (approximately 246 yards/224 meters).Â
I thought it would be fun to try this pattern in a lighter yarn for the summer too, and so I made it up in a linen blend yarn too and I love it as well!
Click HERE for some alternative yarns for this shawl, available through Deramores. Their prices are reasonable and shipping is quick and often free!
