Dragonfly Invasion
The Dragonfly Invasion! Dragonflies are fascinating insects with an ancient past. In addition to their pretty colors and interesting wings, dragonflies are very fast and agile fliers and can actually fly sideways and backwards as well as hover in one spot for a minute or more. They can reach speeds of up to 18 miles per hour and have nearly 360 degree vision!Â
These insects are favorites to adorn pottery, fabric prints and much more.  I simply think they are cute, therefore, I keep adding to my collection!
Here is a collection of 9 free dragonfly crochet patterns — you will probably find one you love in this collection, but if you don’t keep scrolling down and vote for what you’d like to see!
- Radiating Dragonflies – This blanket starts at the center and radiates outward making it appear that the little critters are flying from the center.Â
- Dragonfly Slouchy – This is a super easy and cute slouchy sized in kids through adult sizes. Easy to adjust for more or less slouch.
- The Dragonfly Poncho in Child and Adult Sizes – This poncho is so popular I added a coordinating doll sized one too! Work it in two rectangles and  join them together. The poncho has a stretchy band around the neck for easy on and off. In addition, you can add fringe too!
- A Dragonfly Poncho in 18″ Doll Size – Same as the Child/Adult size, just smaller!
- Dragonfly Chevron Baby Blanket – Chevrons are an old favorite, so I thought it would be fun to marry them with the dragonflies. I made it as a baby blanket, but it can easily be adjusted for larger sizes too.
- Dragonfly C2C Throw – Not your typical C2C, this one is worked in diagonal rows from one corner to another.
- Cowl or Shawl? Dragonfly Bandana Cowl – The cowl will keep your neck warm and stylish, but if you want something bigger, work this one to shawl size!
- Keep little ones warm with the Dragonfly Jacket – Simply ADORABLE!
- The original Dragonfly Blanket by Charmed By Ewe – My friend Janaya designed this original blanket that got the whole trend started! It’s beautiful and a classic and I could not complete the collection without it 🙂
