Autumn Sunset Slouch
I made the Autumn Sunset Slouch to coordinate with the Autumn Sunset Super Scarf I released a few weeks ago! What is unusual is that both of these patterns were designed for ME! I find that I crochet all year long for others and to design patterns and I never make anything for myself, so this was all mine 🙂
I used the same open lacy stitch as the scarf, with Red Hearts Unforgettable yarn in Stained Glass. The lighter stitch pattern makes for a less bulky hat which is perfect as we start to roll into warmer weather. The yarn is so rich in color and really adds to the look but I think the stitch pattern is interesting enough that it would look great in a solid color too!
The stitch is an easy 4 row repeat which becomes intuitive after a couple of repeats. The hat is sized to fit older children, teens and adults and is very forgiving with the button closure allowing for sizing changes. Whether you pair it with the scarf or by itself this is the perfect hat to make for yourself or someone you love!
