I love the look of the Crab Stitch or Reverse SC Stitch, but sometimes it can be hard working stitches backwards. This twisted single crochet gives you the same look, but is worked forwards in the row instead of backwards.

Pull up a loop in the stitch.
Twist the hook 360° counter-clockwise.
You can see the loops are twisted around each other. Yarn over and pull through both loops on the hook.
Your completed twisted single crochet.
