Two Color Crochet Cord
Recently I was in need of a pretty, decorative crochet cord for a project I was working on.
Of course there is the old reliable string of chains, or even chains with an overlay of slip stitches or  my go to favorite, the twisted cord, but for this project I wanted something different.Â
I settled on this simple but attractive strand of alternating chains. The front is pretty enough with alternating chains of color, but I love the back – it reminds me of a link chain bracelet!
This pretty cord is as simple as a strand of chains, with a slight twist. To start, choose two colors (or more I guess), holding them together, make a slip knot.
Keeping both strands of yarn taut in your hand, yarn over and chain with the first color.
Next, yarn over and chain with the second color. It’s as simple as that! Just repeat for as long as you want the chain!
