I can’t believeĀ it’s May already. When I was thinking about designing the May edition of the Chameleon Hat the phrase “April showers, bring May flowers” came to mind and becameĀ the inspiration for these two hats.
The first is a fun garden of flowers perfect for an afternoon stroll through the garden.Ā I love the embroidered stems topped with four different flower appliques and I added some butterflies and ladybug buttons to complete the effect.
The next is a bit more adult. The flower centers are made with pearls for a dressier look.
Whichever you choose, have fun decorating your May Flowers hat! Ā ~Maria~

HI, Could you tell me what Caron Simply Soft colors you used on the garden flowers Chameleon Hat for the hat (blue) and the brim (green)?
A friend has asked me to make this hat for her niece.
Thanks so much!

Love this hat! The directions look like I could easily follow along š Quick question, just below this comment section there are pictures listed under the caption “Some of our favorite designers” . There are 2 pictures of the cutest baby booties. One pair is purple and the other brown, both have cute little button accents. Could you direct me to the pattern, please? Thank you so much š
